Paying court-ordered child support is among the most basic and important responsibilities of a non-custodial parent. A parent who is able to pay child support and, without lawful excuse, fails to do so may be guilty of a misdemeanor under Penal Code Section 270 [Failure to Provide] and/or Penal Code Section 166(a)(4) [Contempt of Court].
Arrest warrants have been issued for the following persons who have been convicted of failing to

On August 29, 2008, Mr. Lozano entered a plea of no contest to violating Penal Code Section 166(a) (4) by failing to support his two sons. He was placed on probation for 36 months and required to make monthly child support payments. He failed to pay as ordered, resulting in the revocation of his probation. He also failed to appear in court as required. On March 19, 2009, the court issued a warrant for his arrest.
On April 8, 2003, Mr. Contreras entered a plea of no contest to violating Penal Code Section 166(a)(4) by failing to support his daughter. He was placed on probation for 36 months and required to make monthly child support payments. He failed to pay as ordered, resulting in the revocation of his probation. He also failed to appear in court as required. On June 21, 2006, the court issued a warrant for his arrest.
On October 28, 2008, Mr. Zaldana entered a plea of no contest to violating Penal Code Section 166(a)(4) by failing to support his son. He was placed on probation for 36 months and required to make monthly child support payments. Mr. Zaldana failed to make the payments required under the terms of his probation. At a hearing, he admitted to violating his probation and on May 13, 2009, the court sentenced him to serve 180 days in jail. He was ordered to surrender on September 29, 2009 to begin his sentence. He failed to do so and a $100,000 warrant was issued for his arrest.

On November 13, 2008, Mr. Garza entered a plea of no contest to violating Penal Code Section 166(a)(4) by failing to support his two sons. He was placed on probation for 36 months and required to make monthly child support payments. Mr. Garza has made no payments under the terms of his probation. On August 24, 2009, the court sentenced him to 30 days in jail. He was ordered to surrender on September 9, 2009 to serve his sentence. He failed to do so and a $30,000 warrant was issued for his arrest.
On October 10, 2001, the defendant Austin Patterson entered a plea of no contest to violating Penal Code Section 166(a)(4) by failing to support his daughter.
He was placed on probation for 36 months and required to make monthly child support payments. Between October 2001 and July 2002, he made only one support payment. On July 10, 2002, the defendant failed to appear for a Motion to Revoke Probation and
the court ordered a bench warrant issued for his arrest. The Defendant is believed to work in the music industry.
On January 16, 2003, Mr. Chapman entered a plea of no contest to violating Penal Code Section 166(a)(4) by failing to support his daughter. He was placed on probation for 36
months and required to make monthly child support payments. Chapman repeatedly failed to pay as ordered, resulting in repeated revocations of his probation. At his last hearing on July 11, 2008, the court ordered him to pay monthly child support and stayed 180 days jail time so long as he complied.
Chapman failed to pay and appear in court as ordered. A bench warrant was issued for his arrest on April 16, 2009.

On September 20, 2001, Mr. Ellington entered a plea of no contest to Penal Code Section 166(a)(4) for failing to support his daughter. He was placed on probation and required to make monthly child support payments. By April 2003, he had not paid as required and failed to appear, resulting in a 5th warrant for his arrest. On March 13, 2009, he admitted a probation violation and was again ordered to pay. He failed to pay and the court ordered him to serve 90 days in jail. A $100,000 warrant was issued when he failed to surrender for jail time.
On March 8, 2001, Mr. Kemp entered into a plea of no contest to Penal Code Section 166(a)(4) for failing to support his two children. Mr. Kemp was not in compliance with the terms of his probation and failed to appear for the sentencing on his violation. On October 15, 2002 a warrant was issued for his arrest.
On June 5, 1995, Mr. Chacon entered into a plea of no contest to Penal Code Section 166(a)(4) for failing to support his two teenage children. Mr. Chacon did not comply with the terms of his probation and failed to appear for his probation violation hearing. On September 16, 1997 a warrant was issued for his arrest.

On February 19, 2002, M r. Easley pled “no contest” to violating Penal Code Section 166(a) (4) by failing to pay the court-ordered child support for his son and daughter. After failing to comply with diversion agreements, he was placed on probation January 11, 2005. He later admitted to violating the terms of his probation, but failed to appear for the sentencing hearing on June 29, 2007 and a warrant was issued for his arrest. Mr. Easley is believed to work in the financial industry.
On December 2, 2002, Mr. Segovia entered a plea of no contest to Penal Code Section 166(a)(4) for failing to support his son and 2 daughters. He was placed on probation after failing to comply with agreed-upon terms for a post-plea diversion. He violated the terms of his probation and was sentenced to do 90 days in jail. On September 10, 2007 he failed to surrender and a warrant was issued for his arrest. Mr. Segovia is believed to work at a family-owned auto repair business.
On June 10, 1999, Mr. Jones pled “no contest” to violating Penal Code Section 166(a)(4) by failing to pay the court-ordered child support for his daughter. He admitted violating the terms of his probation and was sentenced to new terms in February 2000. When he failed to appear for a financial review on May 24, 2000, a warrant was issued for his arrest. Mr. Jones is believed to have worked in education.

On April 19, 2005, Mr. Ough entered a plea of no contest to Penal Code Section 270 for failing to support his 8 year old daughter and 9 year old son. It is believed that Mr. Ough is the president and owner of a consulting company. On August 4, 2006 a warrant was issued for his arrest.
On June 16, 2000, Mr. Rocha pled “no contest” to Penal Code Section 166(a)(4) for failing to support his two year old son. He was placed on probation and repeatedly failed to comply with its terms which included paying monthly child support. On October 7, 2002, he failed to appear for a scheduled court date and a warrant was issued for his arrest. He is believed to have an ownership
interest in a business that installs garage doors. He is also believed to owe more than $396,000 in unpaid support on cases in two other counties
On November 28, 2000, Mr. Santiago pled “no contest” to a charge of violating Penal Code Section 270 for disobeying a court order to support his son and two daughters. On November 28, 2001, he admitted he violated the terms of probation. The court issued a warrant for his arrest when he failed to appear for sentencing on the violation. It is believed that he works as a mechanic.

On January 24, 2006, Mr. Rajotte entered a plea of no contest to violating Penal Code 166(a)(4) by failing to support his son. He was placed on probation for 36 months and required to make monthly child support payments. Mr. Rajotte failed to make the payments required under the terms of his probation. At two different hearings, he admitted to violating his probation. Each time, he failed to follow the Court’s orders to pay. On September 22, 2009, the court sentenced him to serve 120 days in jail. He was to surrender on September 29, 2009. He failed to do so and a $100,000 warrant was issued for his arrest.
On July 27, 2000, Mr. Lopez entered into a plea of no contest to Penal Code Section 166(a)(4) for failing to support his three children. Mr. Lopez was not in compliance with the terms of his probation and failed to appear for the sentencing on his violation. On October 21, 2002 a warrant was issued for his arrest.
